Leadership of East West Bridge

The leadership of East West Bridge provides strategic direction, institutional continuity, and safeguards the integrity of the organization’s work.

Leadership Structure

The leadership structure is designed to ensure a clear separation of governance, executive, and advisory functions, while fully respecting the independence, professional standards, and analytical character of EWB.

Governing Board

The Governing Board provides strategic direction and institutional oversight, ensuring the effective advancement of East West Bridge’s mission, long-term objectives, and programmatic priorities. It adopts key policy decisions, safeguards organizational integrity, and promotes sustainable development, operational coherence, and international engagement across all areas of activity.

Advisory Board

The Advisory Board of East West Bridge represents the organization’s central intellectual and reflective framework, dedicated to in-depth consideration of key international, political, economic, and security issues of strategic relevance.

The Board brings together distinguished domestic and international individuals from various professional fields, recognized for their integrity, professional reputation, and long-standing experience in international and public affairs. Their collective contribution is grounded in the ability to assess complex processes from multiple perspectives, with an understanding of both local and regional specificities as well as the broader global context.

In line with the core values of East West Bridge—dialogue before positioning, understanding before advocacy, and intellectual independence—the Advisory Board contributes to the development of the organization’s strategic thinking and programmatic orientation, without normative or political advocacy. Its role is not decision-making, but rather the provision of a high-quality analytical framework, critical insight, and long-term perspective in EWB’s work.

Participation in the work of the Board is based exclusively on individual intellectual capacity and professional authority, rather than on formal positions, institutional representation, or organizational affiliation.

Ethics Committee

The Ethics Committee is responsible for upholding professional and ethical standards within the organization, as well as for addressing matters related to integrity, transparency, and compliance with EWB’s core principles.
